Lessons Learned from Years with Plants

My Encounter with Pot Brownies: A Delightful Affair

When I first wanted to discover more about weed I took the vile pot brownie. A good friend warned me about the effects of this product, so I only took a tiny crumb. However I felt nothing, and I didn’t try any more pot brownie that evening. It occurred to me that maybe the brownie was not a pot brownie but a regular one or I was insusceptible to cannabis.

My second attempt was a couple of months later; I was hoping to learn more about weed; Thus, I did it assuming this product would not affect me. Everybody else would be high except me. In spite of my assumption this time the weed affected me.
Frankly, I was scared of smoking; I felt the food was safer and healthier which is odd since brownies contain a lot of sugar. Several months later I was all about experimenting on edibles. Having my senses altered by this product was delightful.

When I began dating my husband we shared an edible and were high together. The memory of the chocolate bar wrapping and the taste of the chocolate is still very vivid in my mind. The previous night we had each taken a small piece which had little effect thus I slept well. The following afternoon we took some more and went for a walk.

We got high as we had never done before. We were high for about fourteen hours. It was like we became one with nature. After the nature walk we watched a Harry Potter Movie and ended up shedding tears when we learned more about how all the characters had been traumatized by some horrific experiences at a tender age of eleven years.

We were locked within our minds and bodies and fourteen hours were like fourteen days. Locked within our minds we felt separated but also connected, frightened but also excited and out of control but also oddly with a sense of control. It was like the entire lifetime was spanned within fourteen hours.

I will never forget that day. The day was among the last times we ate edibles. Eventually I was able to smoke and got used to it. I became fascinated by the culture of growing, storing and maintaining marijuana. People say that marijuana will last for a longer duration of time when stored properly. I say marijuana has the longest lifespan when taken in a brownie.
